Callisto, Der Red Max, and Baby Daddy were primed this morning! A nice thick coat to ensure a smooth, awesome paint finish later. Now they'll dry for 24 hours or so before getting some nice paint.

Whoa... explosive!?!?
That nice beautiful bright orange label greeted me when UPS dropped off the package for me yesterday. My first order of rocketry supplies since getting L1 certified and thus my first shipment that required hazmat/explosives labe… more »

Terrible iPhone shot of my shiny new Tripoli card!Yesterday in the mail, I got the above card, showing my Level 1 Certification! My previous card had a big "0" where the "1" is now. According to Tripoli's rules, you have to pay $5 if you want your… more »

I always forget to take screenshots. I'll be playing and just getting into what's going on, then later, I think "gee, I should have screenshotted that..." I did get this one, though. It kind of shows of the theme of Living Tombs. It's not super hig… more »

I thought this deserved it's own post, as we were both so blown away!
Living Tombs is an amazingly, awesomely well done zone in EQ2.
We'd been questing in Pillars of Flame, and were sent to Living Tombs, so figured "sure, why not." We'd heard of t… more »

(Yes, I do indeed need to get some painting done...)
Well, there's a shot of my build table as of late last night. Yup, a lot of flyable, but not pretty, rockets. I need to get painting! Priming Callisto will come first, followed by Der Red Max - b… more »

The Pem-Tech Screamin' Green Meanie is basically done! Of course, I won't launch it without paint, as this is a "looks" rocket rather than a performance rocket, but it's still nice to have it essentially done. It was a fun, easy build too. I'm looking… more »

Screamin' Green Meanie's tube-fins are attached and filleted! I'll be attaching the fins to the body today, and that mostly completes construction. Then it'll have to be painted up all cool, though, so it'll be a while before it's truly ready. I've al… more »

I didn't take any, because, honestly, unless you're a fellow rocketeer, you're only going to recognize the final product as a rocket! But, I've got the motor mount (massively overbuilt motor mount at that) installed in the Screamin' Green Meanie, and ha… more »

Version 1.0 of character artwork a friend is doing for Alberic. He sketches by hand, scans the sketch, then inks the artwork digitally. It'll look amazing when done. :D more »

It doesn't look like much, but the pieces of cardboard, plastic, and balsa you see there will soon be a Pemberton Technologies Screamin' Green Meanie!
This is one I've wanted to build for a long time. It's not a "performance" rocket. It won't… more »

... or perhaps certifiable! Either way, I am now Tripoli Level 1 Certified! Callisto performed perfectly on an Aerotech H148 Redline. Awesome bright red flame, super high (easily over 3,000 feet) flight, and perfect recovery deployment. After recover… more »

... back on the subject of EQ2.
Since we've been actively playing for about 2 weeks, I've just been amazed at what a good game it is, and equally amazed at how popular it isn't. It's as good as WoW or any other fantasy MMO out there - better maybe.… more »

I haven't written a lot over the last week or so, as there hasn't really been much "new" to write about. Still playing, and loving EQ2, leveling and exploring like mad.
As my "secondary" game, I've picked EVE Online back up. I played 3 years ago, an… more »

Funcom has finally "officially" announced their new MMO, "The Secret World". It's been in the "rumors and hints" stage for quite some time now. It seems to be at least somewhat Lovecraftian-themed, though set in present-day. Rumors so far are that it… more »

That's cheese. Not just any cheese though - it's four amazingly good cheeses. We shop at D&R Market pretty much every day. We get most of our food there. The people that run it know we like good food, and so when they decided to get in about 1000… more »

I began construction last night on 3 rockets. I was so anxious to get going, I forgot to get any pics. I'll try to remember to get some as the builds go along. The pic above is a terrible, iPhone-shot picture taken this morning before I left for work.… more »
